Hosted by the King’s Engaged Researcher Network Working Group, the awards celebrate impactful work from across the university and its communities, reinforcing King’s commitment to research that delivers meaningful, real-world change. Winners were selected from more than 100 nominees.
IMPACT was awarded the Participatory Research – Global prize.
We are deeply honoured to receive the 2026 King’s Engaged Research Award for Participatory Research (Global). This recognition reflects the strength of partnerships and the commitment of Indigenous communities, young people and collaborators who have all shaped IMPACT from the very beginning.
IMPACT places Indigenous young people and communities at the centre of research and action. By working collaboratively across sectors and countries, IMPACT is helping to strengthen adolescent mental health in ways that are culturally grounded, sustainable and led by the communities and young people it exists to serve.–Professor Seeromanie Harding, IMPACT Principal Investigator, on behalf of the IMPACT Team
